It just takes a little bit of this, a little bit of that
That's right! It just takes a little bit of this, a little bit of that...to make a yogurt mess :) And no I am not talking about The Game of Love, I am talking about something much more important, a yogurt mess, duh!
Since I have a yogurt mess practically everyday for breakfast I thought it would be necessary to give you all a quick little tutorial from the yogurt queen myself on how to make one ;)
First you take your favorite Greek yogurt! This morning I obviously chose Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, since that is what my dining hall sells. But my all time favorite is Chobani! I have also had tried Stonyfield, Stonyfield Oikos, and Fage. I prefer to scoop my yogurt into a bowl, rather than having everything overflow out of the little yogurt cup!Thesecond step is to top your yogurt with cereal or granola, whichever your prefer. Clearly I chose Kashi Go Lean! I have tried other cereals as well, you just have to try out each cereal to see which one you like the best. Then of course come the FRUITS! You can't have a yogurt mess without any yummy fruit on top. You gotta get in your daily servings of fruit in each day and there is no better way than putting fruit into the yogurt mess. I totally 100% believe BANANAS are the best fruit to add to yogurt messes, call me crazy but that is just my opinion! I have tried other fruits but nothing compares to bananas.
Then comes the last topping which is a MUST to your yogurt mess. Whether it is peanut, almond, or cashew butter...you must add it! I love adding peanut butter to my yogurt messes, it just gives it a nice final touch to the yogurt mess, it is just not complete without it! I had Teddie's today, but I have also tried Naturally More, PB & Co., and Skippy Natural. I still have my 2 jars of Crazy Richard's that I can't wait to finally open!
With just those few simple steps you then get...
With just those few simple steps you then get...
A YOGURT MESS!
And of course my yogurt messes are not complete with out my one serving of milk. Your girl Jenna needs her calcium to build those strong bones ;)
So there ya have it! Now you can all make one tomorrow for your breakfast...start plannin'. I wanna see everyones blog tomorrow filled with them.
Have you ever made a yogurt mess before? I sure hope you have! If not, you are so missing out :)

Ok Kashi is great. I recommend it to all my clients (I am a personal trainer). But the taste is very blah, so I usually mix it with another cereal or lots of fruits and some nuts =)
