Easter Break

Hey lovies! Thanks for all of you who checked out my Formspring and asked me some questions! If you haven't checked it out then go ahead :)

Well I am home...again and this time for Easter Break for six days! Ohh the perks of going to a Catholic college ;) I am gonna do a quickie post for y'all because I wanna chill out with the fam for the night.
Breaky featured a yog mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, 1 cup Kashi Honey Sunshine, sliced banana, and PB & Co. Mighty Maple peanut butter with milk on the side.
AM snack was a Strawberry Banana Naked Juice Smoothie and a Trail Mix TLC Kashi bar.Lunch was a veggie burger w/ swiss cheese on whole wheat bread, pretzels, a pear, and milk.

After lunch I had my weekly appointment and then headed HOME!! On the car ride home I snacked on a Chocolate Chip Clif Bar.

Dinner tonight was my mom's homemade lasagna, half meat and half plain for my non-meat eating sisters. I had a nice sized piece of the meat side with a piece of Italian bread and a glass of milk. What a great dinner it was and I am glad to be back home :)

Well I am off to the grocery store to pick up some essentials while home for the next week! See ya on the flip side ;)

Hey lovies! I just wanna do a quickie post for y'all!

Just got a pic from breaky from today, nothing special but certaintly delish ;) I have been pretty busy today with classes, getting ready to go HOME tomorrow for Easter Break, and Housing Lottery! I am so glad housing lottery is over with. I am really happy because me any my roomie got the dorm we wanted and we are with all of our girlfriends! Can't wait for next year, it is going to be wicked fun!
Breaky was the typical yog mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, 1 cup Kashi Go Lean, sliced banana, and Pb & Co. DCD peanut butter with milk on the side. So I finally caved in and got myself a formspring! I never thought I would but of course I did. So if ya wanna ask me any questions...ask away!

Gotta go shower and get ready for The Biggest Loser, American Idol, and Teen Mom! Love Tuesday tv nights :)

Happy Rainy Monday bloggies!

This post is gonna be short and sweet because I am off to see a movie with the girls, hence the name of the post title!
Breakfast was the usual yogurt mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, Kashi Honey Sunshine, sliced banana, and PB & Co. Mighty Maple with milk on the side.Morning snackie was chocolate milk with a Fruit & Nut Kind Bar.Lunch was eaten during lecture, turkey & swiss cheese whole wheat wrap, bag of pretzels, Red Delicious, and milk.

Afternoon snack was an unpictured Clif Bar, obvi!
Then dinner was Baked Lemon Pepper Salmon, roasted carrots with lemon, coucous pilaf, and an italian dinner roll with milk.

Well I am pretty sure that is the quickest post I have ever written and now I gotta peace out because the movie is in a half hour! Have a good one :)

Hey blog readers! Hope ya had a great weekend! Mine was fun :)

All my foodie pics today are from the fabulous iPhone because my camera is charging. But I actually think it sometimes takes better pictures than my camera!
Breaky this morning was a yogurt mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, Kashi Honey Sunshine, banana, and PB & Co. Mightly Maple pb with milk on the side. I know I already said it but the combination of honey cereal and maple pb is amazinggg!Snack was Chocolate milk with peanuts. Then I got ready for the day because I was getting a visit from a special someone ;) My friend Carly came to visit me and the girls here at school!We all grabbed some lunch at the dining hall. I got the usual, turkey & swiss wrap, bag of pretzels, a Red Delicious, and milk.

I was glad she came to visit again (even though she came a few weeks ago) because sometimes a day is just all that better when you get a visit from a friend :) After she left a few of us girls went on a joy ride around town because we were that bored and we just wanted to get off campus for a bit! Ya know, it's what do!

Then I came back to get some work done and snacked on a Chocolate Chip Clif Bar. Then it was already dinner time. I had grilled chicken, summer squash tarragon, roasted red skinned potatoes, a roll with butter, and milk.

Now I am currently watching The Diary of Justin Beiber on MTV as I type this post. I really need to get a life and stop watching this and write my English paper!

Sorry these posts lately have been kinda boring but don't worry I am going home in 3 days for Easter Break so stay tuned for some new eats and food pics!

Happy Saturday! I hope you had a nice day so far and a great last weekend to March:) My morning started with a yogurt mess of Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, 1 cup Kashi Go Lean, sliced banana, and some PB & Co. Mighty Maple peanut butter on top with milk on the side. There was no debating which peanut butter to have this morning because I was obviously having Mighty Maple again ;) The second time around is always better, right?! (TWSS)

I was kinda tired from going out last night with the girls so after breaky I snuggled up back in bed for a few hours. A college girls gotta catch up on her sleep!
Morning snack was a lil something different, I had cocolate milk with a 1/4 cup of trail mix! My dining hall here at school sells all kinds of trail mixes and candies so the other day I bought some for myself. This trail mix had peanuts, M & M's, raisins, and peanut butter chip pieces! Yup you heard me right...M & M's AND peanut butter chips! I used to avoid all trail mixes that had any chocolate in them because ED told me not to eat anything chocolate because it was bad, but clearly he knows nothing! So I would only eat the ones with nuts and NO chocolate. But now things have changed and I showed ED who is boss! I was proud I challenged myself with the trail mix :)

I acutally got some work done today and started my English essay.Then after awhile I got some lunch because ya know typing works up a big appetite ;) Lunch was kind of on the late side but anyways I had a turkey wrap with swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes along with a bag of pretzels, yet another pear, and milk.

This afternoon I made a quick trip to no better place then TARGET to pick up a few goods.
Before I left I snacked on a Cool Mint Chocolate Clif Bar, one of my favorites! Aka Girls Scout Thin Mint Cookie. Need I say more?!

Okay now I am really upset because my dinner was epic and my camera ate it :( That's how good it was! I had a chicken sandwich on Oatmeal Molasses bread with a huge serving of SWEET POTATO fries and milk. I was so excited when I saw they were serving sweet potato fries tonight because I didn't know they even served them, but now I do! But anyways my camera ate my pics from dinner and I am bummin' you can't see some sweet potato lovin' :(

But we can always pretend and this was what my dinner looked like...

Grilled Chicken sandwich with some yummy sweet potato fries on the side :) Reminded me of a great BBQ dinner in the summer!

I am off to shower and get ready for the night! Have a fun night :)

Happy Friday! I appreciate all the advice you gave me yesterday on my post :) I definitely think posting each day in my recovery does keep me very accountable!

This morning was all about this beauty...PB & Co. MIGHTY MAPLE peanut butter! I have had this jar for quite some time and I just finally got around to opening it this morning! Just like all the other PB & Co. peanut butters I have tried, this one did not let me down! This peanut butter smelled and tasted just like maple and was very sweet! The people over at Pb & Co. are geniuses for coming up with these amazing flavors!I had Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal with the mightly maple peanut butter and the two went together so well! Honey & Maple=heavenly :)My yogurt mess was Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, 1 cup Kashi Honey Sunshine and a sliced up banana with a dollup of PB & Co. Mighty Maple peanut butter with milk on the side.Love love love only having ONE class on Fridays at 11:30! My morning snack during class was a Chocolate milk with a bag of peanuts, a lil switch up! Kind of a weird combo, but hey it worked for me;)Lunch was a turkey & swiss whole wheat wrap, bag of pretzels, a pear, and milk. For the past few days I have been having a craving for pears, they are soo good when they are really ripe!Afternoon snack was a Bluberry Crisp Clif Bar. Dinner tonight was eaten back in the dorm with the girls. I had Shrimp Scampi over Linguine and a piece of bread with buttah and milk.

I remember this past summer when I went out to eat with my fam and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi...but with OUT the sauce, so it was basically shrimp with spaghetti and no sauce at all! Yeah I know totally not normal. When my mom found out I ordered it without the sauce she got very upset with me because she just wanted me to eat normal because I was supposed to be gaining weight and I was restricting and avoiding. But I will tell you tonight I had the shrimp scampi WITH the sauce!

That night was probably the worst restaurant experience I ever had. I was out to eat with my fam, grandma, cousins, aunts, and uncles and it was just a disaster because my mom was mad at me for what I ordered and I felt like everyone at the table was staring at me the whole time to see what I was and was not eating. So annoying!

But I must say going out to eat has gotten a lot better and I have gotten so much more comfortbale eating out at restaraunts. That was one of the first times eating out after I got out of in-patient so it was extremely hard but after going out to restaurants more and more and getting comfortable eating out it will get a lot easier, I promise! It still is a bit hard at times, but for the most part I am pretty comfortable eating out and plus it is so much fun. I now look forward to eating out and I have learned to enjoy it :)

Well I am gonna go get ready for the night and then hit the campus with the girls!

Hey loves and Happy Thursday!

One thing that has been on my mind lately is my blog and how often I post. As you all know I post EVERY single day and I feel like I am obligated to post every single day. I know this is so not true but I feel like in order to be a good blogger I must post everyday. So I am debating whether or not it would be better for me to post every few days or whenever I want, rather than feeling obligated posting everyday. I should enjoy blogging and I shouldn't feel like it is necessary everyday!

Since you are all my readers, what are your thoughts on this?!

So onto my eats for the day.
Even though I went to bed rather early last night, getting up this morning was rough. I just wanted to lay in bed for a few more minutes but I knew I had to get up and get ready for the day.
But breakfast was defs a motivation to get outta bed. I had the usual yog mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, Kashi Go Lean, banana, and PB & Co. DCD with milk on the side.All mixed up! Then I was off to classes for the morning.In between my classes I had a cold slushy frozen chocolate milk (that I left in the freezer last night) and a Nut Delight Kind Bar.Lunch this afternoon was a turkey & swiss wheat wrap, Original PopChips, a pear, and milk.I now have officially tried all flavors of PopChips! And I must thanks the Popchips company for sending me all of them to try. I loved all the flavors and I can't wait to buy some in the future. Although I must say my favorite is the barbeque ;) I like the tangy taste.While I was writing my Humanities essay this afternoon I snacked on a Harvest Apple Cinnamon Crisp Power Bar. I don't know what was with me but my fingers just started typing away and in no time I was done with my essay and I it came out pretty good! Dinner later tonight was a Turkey Cutlet with Bruschetta Topping, Steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, one large Harvest Bun, and milk.

There ya have it, my Thursday eats. I am gonna shower up and get some work done and later have my Chocolate milkshakeee! Night :)

Windy Wednesday

Humpday is already here! That means half way through this week :) Ya! I hope you all had a fab day. My day has been pretty good although it was very windy out! To start my day off I had the usual yogurt mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, Kashi Heart to Heart Toasted Oats, sliced banana, and PB & Co. DCD peanut butter with milk on the side.

Then I was off to Nursing class and handed in my essay. This morning I also found out my Microbiology grade since he posted them this morning and I got an 80! Whoo :)
Mid-morning snack was chocolate milk (since I ran outta Boost!) with a Nut Delight Kind Bar.For lunch I had a veggie burger with swiss cheese on toasted wheat bread with pretzels, a pear, and milk.

Then I was off to my weekly appointment with Karen. To tell you the truth I wasn't as nervous as I have been in previous weeks. Suprisingly for some reason I was pretty calm! I mean I really should not be nervous because if I have been doing what I am supposed to be doing (which I have been) then there is nothing to worry about. But anyways it went very well and I did gain since last week! I need to make sure NOT to listen to ED and cut back. I must keep doing what I have been doing so I can continue to go in the right direction in my recovery!

This afternoon I texted my lovely girls Katie, Meg, and Shelley. They are all truly amazing girls and so inspiring! They all have helped me soo much already. It is great to have such supportive blog friends that have been through the same thing!
This afternoon I had one of my favorite Clif Bars, Oatmeal Raisin Walnut. Then I was off to Girls Inc. to do some service learning for a few hours. I can't wait until tomorrow because they are coming over to my college for dinner!Since I got back kinda late and the girls already ate I grabbed it to go. I got the shells with tomato & spinach and topped it with a piece of broiled chicken. I also had a dinner roll with a little bit of BUTTER and milk!

I finally don't have anything that is due tomorrow so I am going to relax for the night and maybe get a head start on some work, but probs not ;)

Oh yeah and I forgot to ask for those of you who use Blogger...Have you been having a problem with moderating your comments?! Because recently it will say I have 2 comments and then I click on it I will have like 10 new comments! So weird. Idk if it is just me but it has been acting up on me lately. But I finally think it is fixed, at least I hope so!
