Don't skimp on the veggies
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great start to your school or work week. Hopefully this week will go by fast since Halloween is this weekend and there will be lots of fun festivities going on this week.
My breaky this morning consisted of Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt topped with Kashi Go Lean and a sliced banana with milk on the side. Since today is Monday I had a morning appointment with Karen.
After two classes this morning I had some lunch before lab. The caf was out of smoked turkey (which you all know I get everyday!) So I settled for regular turkey which was not a problem at all. I actually don't even know what the difference between the two is, do you?! Anyways, I got regular turkey with swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on a whole wheat wrap with pretzels and a Fuji apple with milk. Please not I did have more pretzels than those on my plate! As I was getting my lunch set up I kept snacking on them ;) Hehe.
Dinner tonight was broiled chicken, VEGGIES, and an artisan dinner roll with a glass of milk while watching the Democratic candidates in the race for Senate. Yes, I know I am so studious ;)
I am defintely going to the same lady who gave me my veggies tonight from now on, she did NOT SKIMP ON THE VEGGIES! Now that is what I like :)

I also prefer the taste of smoked turkey over regular. I think the only difference is how it's prepared. The nutritionals are identical for the most part.

I like how in college cafeterias, they don't skimp on anything...except the veggies haha. Hooray for lucking out!!

I was so veggie deficient today though. Hopefully I'll pile it on tomorrow :D !

Jenna!
I tried making your breakfast cookie for this morning's breakfast, and it was amazing. It put me in such a good mood I could actually tolerate stocktake this morning at work.
Much love from Australia xx Karin

Hey! How do you think the Brown Cow yogurts compare to Chobani, Oikos, etc.?? I saw it for the first time recenlty and was curious about it!
