3 strikes and you're out!
Good afternoon! Hope you are all having a good start to yet another week of work and/or school. My day has been for the most part pretty well.
I had an appointment this morning with Karen from Health Services where she weighs me and does my vitals. She also makes me do my own urine test. Well not because she doesn't want to do it herself but because she wants be to practice since I am now a nursing major! Yes, you heard me right, one day your girl Jenna is going to be a NURSE! So yeah I have been kind of keeping it on the d-l (down-low) but I have decided to tell you all finally declared my major!
But anways all went well. She thinks if I keep on doing everything I am doing now regards to my meal plan I will be able to gradually start playing lacrosse once again and exercising slowly. I was so happy to hear that news and I hope I will be able to continue on the path I am on now.
Breakfast was a Strawberry Stonyfield Organic Yogurt, Kashi Heart to Heart, sliced banana, and 1 tbsp. PB & Co. Smooth Operator peanut butter with milk.I love Kashi Heart to Heart cereal :)This morning I had two classes and then Biochemistry Lab for two hours. Blahh. But it actually went by pretty fast and we got out early so it was all good. And we also got our first quizzes back and I got a 100%. I was so happy!! Let's just hope I can continue doing this well. Lunch was on the early side today since I had lab so I picked up a smoked turkey wheat wrap with swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes along with pretzels and an apple with milk.
Ok so...I had "THE LADY" make my sandwich yet again for the third time this school year. So while I was waiting in line I was praying she would not make my sandwich but she ended up making it anyways. But while waiting I observed her making everyones sandwiches!
So while I was waiting in line I was watching her make someone elses sandwich and he asked if he could have it whole and she didn't cut it, so I thought I would tell her if I could have it whole instead of telling her she does not have to cut it. I was thinking maybe saying it differently might do the trick. Then I watched her make a girls sandwich and she also asked for it whole and the lady said yes. Then a few seconds later the girl in line had to shout to THE LADY not to cut it as she had the knife in her hand ready to cut it. So then it was my turn to order and of course just my luck I got her again. And I always asked for the smoked turkey and I point at it but she picks up the regular turkey and I have to tell her NO I want the smoked turkey and she is like oh yes, you can have the smoked turkey, if I have it then you can have it! I mean she is really nice but she just can't remember anything! So I asked if I could have it whole after she finished making it and she said of course. Then seconds later she brings it over to wrap it up and cuts it. But today she actually realized she cut it and I didn't want it cut. Usually she doesn't even remember and just happily hands me over my sandwich. She was going to just put it all in another wheat wrap but I told her it was fine. She was like Oh I am sorry I am just so used to cutting them. So in my book, 3 strikes and you're out...and she is totally out!
I mean it's not like when is my turn to order I ask to have someone else make my sandwich, I mean that would be pretty mean. But I don't really know why she is in the deli station enyways, she usually is always at the registers. I don't know her name, nor do I really want to because she annoys me so for now we are going to refer to her as THE LADY. So tonight when I go get dinner I will see what her name tag says.
So enough talking about THE LADY, let's move onto bigger and better things! So about those MTV VMA's last night, all I can say is WOW! They were definitely quite interesting. I am not going to lie I fell asleep towards the end so I didn't get to finish watching it all but I will catch the re-runs on all week.
Speaking of t.v. is anyone else excited for the new fall t.v. shows? Ok so don't get the impression all I do is sit in front of the boob tube as a coach potato, because I don't! The t.v. line up for tonight is The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Gossip Girls, Patriots game, and the Jay Leno Show. There is going to be a lot of clicker action going on back and forth between shows. Oh wait, that's right...I don't have a clicker that works for my t.v. So everytime I want to change the channel I have to manually change it on the t.v. So annoying I know! Ya see I lost the clicker from last school year so I had to buy a universal clicker from Target but I can't get it to work. I have seriously tried everything but nothing seems to work!
I am going to get some homework done right now before dinner with the girls so I can watch all my shows tonight!

haha you have some serious pent up issues about this lady.. I wonder why she just can't get it right!
you are totally gonna rock it as a nurse!
sorry you keep getting the same lady @ the deli counter.
I think your smart by no longer getting your sammy from that dang lady. Ha, lunch ladies I tell ya. The guy at our campus sub shop always thought he knew exactly what I wanted before I even ordered--so annoying!!
I have Secret Life on my agenda tonight too!!
And a nurse?! Impressive giiirl :-)
I was laughing so loud after this post, THAT LADY! wow...
And I really hope things will work out great, just like the nurse said. That would be really good:)
