Back to School
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fab weekend :)

Today was my first day of classes today...well actually not really, hah! I still have to make my schedule, although I am enrolled in one class ;)

Last night was really hard for me, I was really sad to be back at college :( I missed my family very much. If you can't already tell I am such a home body ;) But I did get through the night and everything went well. I managed to stay up late and watch some t.v. to keep my mind of things and then slowly feel asleep.

This morning I met up with some of my new girlfriends for breakky! They are all wicked FRIEDNLY ;) I am so glad I finally have a nice group of friends at school and I am really thankful for them! I can't wait to hang out with them allll school year!

The caf here at school is great! It has all of the foods I feel comfortable eating. Although they do not have my fav Chobani yogurt (tear) they do have Stonyfield Organic Yogurt!! So I really can't complain :0

So for breaky I had a Strawberry Stonyfield yogurt mixed with Kashi Go Lean cereal, sliced banana, and a dollop of PB & Co. Smooth Operator pb I brought ;) and a glass of milk. I was very happy I was able to have my usual breakfast I love soo much!

After breakfast I had to meet with the DEAN to figure out my schedule but we still have not finalized it yet. Then I checked my mail box...and I didn't have any :( Well what can I expecct it is only the first day of school! But I legit check my mail everyday because I absolutely loveee getting mail!

Then I had to go to HEALTH SERVICES to meet with them because they told me on the first day of school to come by to set up appointments! So...off I was to Health Services (the building I practically lived in last spring). I was just supposed to set up some appointments but I actually met with the nurse practitioner Karen. They were all happy to see me again and happy to see I was doing well. They are all so sweet! I met with Karen for a half hour and talked about everything. She weighed me, took my vitals, and did a urine sampe, and everything was very well! Let's just hope I can keep it up here at college! She said I looked so much healthier and had a glow in my eye :)

I actually did have ONE class today and it was a Nutrition Class!! Can you believe I am taking that class this semester?! I signed up for this class as an elective last spring semester when ED was strong. Over the summer I was debating whether or not to take this class because I did not know if it would be a good or bad thing as I am recovering. But after awhile of thinking, I decided it would be a great idea for me to take the class! I thought it would be very beneficial to learn more about Nutrition! And let me tell you girls, the class was awesome! I really enjoy it and I can't wait to learn =)

This afternoon I hung around with Carly and Hannah, they are too funny! Then I grabbed some lunch from the caf to go.

I had nice roasted turkey with swiss cheese and honey mustard on a spinach wrap, a serving of pretzels, an apple, with a glass of milk. It was delicious! Again I must day the school caf here is really good here!

Don't ya just love my plate?! It matches the colors of my room obvs. I also got some bowls and a cute cup that goes along with it!

Okay but don't think I am going to be posting like this everyday because I will have somee work to do since I am in college ;) hah! It is just because it is the first day and I don't really have any work to do but let me tell you it will pick up real fast and your girl Jenna will be doing lots of homework and studying!

Sorry for such the long post but it was my first day of school for me! Since I did not really get to enjoy my second semester last spring as a freshman I want to make sure I get off to a good healthy start this fall semester. I also wanted to let you all know how my day went today. Blogging also helps me keep my mind off things and makes me feel better!

Sounds like you're having a great time at school (at the cafeteria especially)! I love the picture of the eye by the way. :P Gorgeous. And your wrap looks yummy. I haven't had a wrap in a looong time because I usually just use bread for my sandwiches.

I totally agree that the caf at your college is amazing! I used to get that same exact wrap (minus the honey mustard) every day! On weekends, I always got egg and cheese on a english muffin! They also have fantabulous corn bread (well at least they used to!)

I'm happy that this day went ok! And feeling homesick sucks, but it also makes you realize what you have at home:)
It's great that the cafe has such nice food options. And the comment of the nurse: wow, that's so good! The sparkle in your eyes is what makes you special, so keep that! xxx Julia (Taste of Living)
