A Dollop

Sunday, November 22, 2009

Good afternoon lovies! I hope you all enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon filled with relaxing and watching football because that is exactly what I will be doing :)
So last night after I posted I got a lot of comments regarding my eats. I love having a blog and I really appreciate all the awesome support and advice I get from you all! Now I thought A LOT about what you all had to say and then I thought about it some more...and then some more. All I could think about last night was what I have to do for myself :) I decided I was going to do something about it and this morning I was going to do something about it!

I had a yogurt mess with Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, Kashi Go Lean, a sliced banana, and A DOLLOP of Teddie's peanut butter with milk on the side!

Yes, that is right I had a nice yummy dollop of peanut butter on my yogurt mess and there was no skimping whatsoever and I enjoyed every delicious bite :) I mean let's be real, a yogurt is NOT complete with out the key ingredient on top...PEANUT BUTTER ;)

A great yogurt mess! The way it is supposed to be made :)

Today is going to be spent relaxing and watching THE PATRIOTS dominate in their game this afternoon!

Are you a big football fan? If so, what is your favorite team?

proud of you jenna! stay strong! I have been thinking about you a lot lately, which is weird because I don't even know you! I went to the same school undergrad as you though, and I know how tough it can be there! Please, please please email me if you need ANY advice! Seriously! I'll be HAPPY to help, and even get together with you!

PB = a necessity!!

And I'm an eagles fan.. ALL THE WAY!

i agree with shelley. one small spoonful of PB is not going to make you maintain/gain weight..

Yeah girl! That's what I like to see!

Just keep it up - think about all the benefits food has. It makes you energetic, makes your hair/nails grow, your skin glow - everything! If you're lacking nutrients your body basically gets really pissed (haha) and doesn't operate right. I remember in the depths of my eating disorder my hair would fall out, my skin was so dry, ugh! But getting back on track means that everything gets better.

KEEP IT UP!!
Meg :)

p.s. a yogurt mess is NOT a yogurt mess without nut butter!! I agree!

Great job adding in the PB! :) Adding in healthy fats will NOT make you fat, but it WILL make your skin glow, your nails strong, your hair shine. I promise!! That is the ONLY change I noticed when I started eating real nut butters instead of that low cal imitation PB. Also, things like olive oil, hummus, avocado, and almonds are great sources of healthy fats.

In regards to your comment on my blog, the church is actually located in NYC, not Chicago.

great first step on the PB -- but it sounds like PB is the only fat exchange your getting in all day :( I have at least 2-4 tbsp per day WITH almonds and other fat sources.. perhaps try adding another tbsp today ...I know it's difficult, but it's what you need to do! Recovery isn't easy, you're going to want to cry and complain and whine - trust me, I was there..but it's the only way to regain your health and your health is so crucial right now Jenna! please, think about it.

I agree... PB is the best yogurt topping.

My family isn't really a football family, but my boyfriend's family is HARDCORE into the Redskins (although they're not doing very well right now). I'm learning!
