Well Happy September 9, 2009 or 09-09-09! I love when the dates are cool like today.
But anyways I forgot to show you what I tried yesterday afternoon for a snack. I had for the first time the Chocolate Chip Clif Bar. Now this was kind of a big deal for me because I usually always have the same two Clif Bars just because they have like 10 or 20 calories than the others and they were boring flavors! I was dying to try the cool and yummy flavors so I finally bought me some :)The Chocoloate Chip Clif Bar tasted just like a cookie! It was very soft with lots of little chocolate chips. It was ah-mazing :) I am so happy I tried a new flavor and I would definitely have it again. Now, I want to try all the other flavors like Maple Nut that everyoneee on the blog world craves about.
Last night for dinner was take-out because I had a lacrosse meeting and the caf was gonna be closed later so I bought it earlier and heated it up after my meeting for a late dinner. I had broiled chicken, brocollini, with a delicious whole wheat roll!
These dinner rolls at the cafeteria are soo good! They are whole wheat and have little pieces on something in them, hah! I don't really know what they are but they are good. See the little yellow-orangish pieces?!
-----------------------------------------------Breakfast this morning was totally NOT rushed so I got to enjoy my yogurt mess with a lil fb creepin ;)
I had Strawberry Stonyfield yogurt, Kashi Go Lean, sliced banana, and 1 tbsp. PB & Co. Smooth Operator peanut butter with milk.
I only had two quick classes today and I was done by 12:30. Hard day, I know!
I came back to the dorm to relax and then got some lunch. I had the smoked turkey on a wheat wrap with swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, pretzels, an apple, with some milk.
I kindly asked the lady if she could NOT cut my wrap and if I could have it to go.
Sooo...she gave it to me CUT and on a plate! Was I speaking another language?! I don't think so! Then I told her I wanted it to go and she was like ohhh yeahhh! I was like DUHHH. But I didn't remind her I also wanted it cut because then she would have to make it all over again. So my lesson I learned today...don't go to that lady ever again!
I am off to get some work done, probs gonna study Biochemistry!

Ha ha! That lady just didn't want you to have a wrap as a whole;)
And great that you made a choice for the other bar! Because common: what is XX calories? NOTHING! And food isn't all about the calories you know... This is some good kicking that stupid ED in the butt and I'm proud:)

try not only maple nut but the oatmeal raisin and white chocolate nut, bc they are like cookies wearing healthy costumes :)

Ahhh I hate it when people just DON'T listen, but hey, I'm sure she was just having a looong day serving everyone...I guess her memory goes blank every once in a while, haha! Understandable, but still annoying, I know what ya mean. Biochemistry?!?! Kudos to you for taking that!

I looove Clif bars, but they are so filling that I usually have to split em' in half which means double the enjoyment, right?!
Everytime I see pretzels on your blog it reminds me I need to make homemade dipped pretzels soon!
oh man girl you have GOT to try maple nut and white chocolate macadamia nut they are DIVINE! and you MUST MUST heat them up! everything gets all melty, freakin amazing.
