Get some!

Hey blog readers! Hope you all had a beautiful day :)

The weather here was soo nice and I enjoyed every single minute of it today!
Today I was up rather early because I had to bring my lil sis to her basketball tourney! Before we left I scarfed down my yog mess of Vanilla Brown Cow yogurt, Kashi Mighty Bites, sliced banana, and PB & Co. DCD peanut butter with a glass of milk. Sorry for the rather dark pic but I was in a rush to get out the door!My sisters team did well and they won, she got 7 points ;) Yeah! Later in the morning I had my snack of a Butter Pecan Boost and a Fruit & Nut Delight Kind Bar.Lunch was of course eaten outside to enjoy the beautiful weather! I had a turkey, apple, and american cheese hot panini on 12 Grain bread with pretzels, an apple, and milk. 'Twas a much enjoyable lunch outside :)Snack this afternoon was a new bar to me that definitely lived up to its name...SWEET and SALTY! This was the Mountain Mix Clif Mojo Sweet and Salty Trail Mix bar. My first bite in to the bar was something I was definitely not expecting. I was expecting this bar to be more like the traditional trail mix bar but that was not the case! The Mountain Mix bar was both sweet and salty filled with nuts, pretzels, raisins, chocolate chips, peanuts, and almonds! I really ejoyes this bar so I bought another one today. Hah.The people workin' over at Clif are so amazing. I love on the back of the wrapper they end but saying "CLIF mojo. Get some" I just think that is rather funny! But I must agree with them...so go and GET SOME ;)My sis had another bball game tonight so after we got dinner to go and I went to no other place but Panera Bread and ordered something new. I had the Mediterranean Salmon Salad! The salad had a piece of salmon served on a bed of greens with Kalamata olives, feta cheese, mandarin oranges, sliced almonds, and red onions tossed in a Honey Tangerine vinaigrette dressing. I was rather excited to try this salad since I heard some great reviews on it but it kind of disappointed me. Which is surprising because I am a big fan of Panera. But oh well, ya can't win them all! Along with the salad I had a baguette and a glass of milk.

I am now relaxing with my sisters so good night y'all!

Have a Happy Easter :)

What are your plans for tomorrow!?

  7. Have you ever considered switching to something a bit more calorie- dense than pretzels for your lunch?
Not that I am an expert, but the pretzels they sell here in Norway are really low in calories.

    Keep it up :)

  9. Hi Jenna, thanks for accepting my apology, I really am sorry I came across so harsh. That's just the way I am, I don't pull any punches, get straight to the point. I know how hard it is for you, I've been there and still am.
My plans for today is I'm going to my parents for Easter dinner. My whole Fam will be there. My two little neices are so cute. I have Easter bags for them (Their Mom doen't like them to have too much candy :) Hey, what's Easter without all the goodies that go along with it??? :)
Hope you have a great day today Jenna. What are your plans?

  14. Ya, I wouldn't have recommended that salad. I work there and when it came out everyone that tried it thought it was weird. Not BAD persay, just a weird assortment of ingredients!
